Hi Gang,

Whew! The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is finally over. It has been a busy last couple of weeks and I’m excited to show all of our loyal JumpStart fans some new screen shots of our upcoming world – MarineLand! Can’t wait, huh?

You have seen the concept art*… NOW experience the final super-cool 3D worlds. (Well, not exactly final; but pretty close anyway.)

Look out behind you!

I wonder if there's treasure in that ship...

  1. When will it be finished and released. My kid has finished what is online already and is waiting :-)

    • Hi Faith!

We’re hoping to have MarineLand up and running during the month of July. We’ve been working extra-hard to get JumpStart Pet Rescue released for the Wii, so we’ve had to split resources between that and MarineLand.

We’re so glad to hear that your child enjoys JumpStart. Have you tried the downloadable games that are available on the Web site? They would certainly give your child something to do while he or she is waiting for MarineLand. You can download JumpStart games at the download page after you log in. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks so much!

  2. can you please do antother screen shot update due on 6-13-09? im waiting for those underwater PUNK PUNKS!

  3. The 3D adventures on the download page are what drew us to jumpstart… Great stuff! kiddo just finished 2nd grade yesterday.

So now we are really waiting for the new area to open. Can’t wait to see it.

    Thanks Jumpstart Team

  4. Do you have a list of games on cd that work from start to finish without a memership

    • Math Blaster Master the Basics and all JumpStart products released prior to 2007 do not have an optional add-on membership piece. Our more recent JumpStart titles (such as the JumpStart Virtual World line) are membership-enabled because we chose to start developing games that cover a full year of curriculum rather than just a selection of skills for each grade. These games were simply too large to put on one CD, which is why the CD includes 2 “adventures” (which take the average student 2 months to complete) with the option to subscribe for an additional 10 months of content. Hope this helps!

      • What kind of math software are beneficial to a child with special needs?

        • Hi, Tanisha-

Although our games are not specifically designed for children with special needs, many parents have told us that their special needs children make a good deal of academic progress by using our games to supplement math and reading lessons. If you are looking specifically for math games, we recommend you give Math Blaster: Master the Basics a try.

          Best of luck,

          The JumpStart Team

  5. isnt like the thing in sunnyshores

    • Hi, Mike-

MarineLand will be like Sunny Shores in that you’ll be able to go scuba diving. However, MarineLand will be a much more expansive area, and you’ll get to go deep-sea diving, too!

      Best,

      The JumpStart Team

  6. :-} i love this!
