Since Thanksgiving has now passed us as quickly as winter days fade, it’s time to admit that it’s getting cold. Nevertheless, many hometowns will not get a chance to play in the snow and make snowmen during the winter. If you live in such a place, then we have a craft for you that combines these wonderfully winter things! And even if you live in a place that gets plenty of snow, here’s your chance to bring the outdoors in!
What you’ll need:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Take a sheet of paper and fold it as shown below:

- Cut off the side panel of the paper in order to create a square

- Take the square and fold it in half. Then fold it in half again. And finally fold it in half again, creating a third, final triangle.

- Now draw out a pattern that you like with a snowman in it. Look at ours below if you need an idea of where to start!

- Now that your snowman is drawn, start cutting around the edge of your drawing. This is what our leftover paper looked like after we cut out our snowflake.

- Once you have finished cutting, open up your snowflake! If you want a few more holes cut into the snowflake to make it look fancier, just fold it back up and make a few inserts and then reopen. Here is what our final JumpStart Super Snowman Snowflake looked like:
Have friends welcome the Super Snowman Snowflake into their homes!
