The ground is covered in sparkly snow and the water is frozen over. It’s official! JumpStart.com is experiencing its first taste of winter. Lucky for you, this snow requires no shoveling, and you can still wear shorts and flip flops outside if you’d like! Enjoy the beautiful white weather and join in the exciting winter activities we have in store for you and your family!
Since the snowstorm hit JumpStart, the water has frozen solid! We didn’t think you would mind, because we’ve gone ahead and equipped your Jumpee with a new pair of ice skates. Go gracefully glide through the new ice rink with all of your JumpStart friends!
You can meet all your buddies in Downtown for a good old fashioned snowball fight! At the bottom of the screen, you will find a “throw a snowball” button. Click it and your Jumpee will chuck a snowball! After that, gather your friends in Downtown and help the giant snowman grow. The more snowballs you throw at it, the larger it will get. It’ll grow a lot faster if your buddies help you out. Before you know it, you’ll have a gigantic snowman in the middle of the world to make your holiday season bright!
JumpStart is also geared up with wintery rides! Thought Santa’s sleigh is pulled by the coolest possible animal? Think again! JumpStart’s sleighs are pulled by penguins!
If a sleigh ride isn’t for you, try a sled, and race your friends around town!
Whichever activities you choose, you can rest assured that your Jumpee is going to have more on his frozen plate than he or she can handle this winter at JumpStart!

Why, yes, RJ’s mama, we have a number of opportunities for 8-year-olds to enjoy and learn within the JumpStart line of products. In our online world at JumpStart.com, MarineLand, AdventureLand, and FutureLand are all learning areas that are age-appropriate for 8-year-olds. Our recent Wii title, Escape from Adventure Island, is appropriate for children up to age 9. It is recommended you adjust the curriculum levels within the mini-games to reflect the child’s age and schooling.
