When Your Dragon Grows Up…

Kids – you know how your parents tell you that you’ve been growing up fast? Well, just like you, sometimes dragons grow up fast too! If you’ve been caring for your dragon, you’ve probably noticed it getting a little bit bigger every few days.

Just Like You, Dragons Grow

From that tiny baby who needed to sleep in the nursery to that bouncing teenager who was big enough to sleep in the dragon dorms – your dragon friend is growing into a strong dragon who will someday be able to breathe fire and fly all on his own!

So what will happen when your dragon is fully grown?

When your dragon has completed training, you’ll be given the option to release your dragon. If you decide to do this, your dragon will take off to explore the world and strengthen his or her wings even more. But don’t worry! Your dragon isn’t gone for good.

In fact, we’re building a whole new area of the Enchanted Sanctuary where you’ll be able to call your released dragons back to visit and play with them. This new area is still under construction, but we’re hoping to open it in just a couple of weeks! Any dragons you release before then will still be able to come back and see you. In the meantime, you can look for another dragon egg to hatch and see what type of dragon you get this time!

If you aren’t ready for your friend to go traveling just yet, you can decide not to release them right away. You won’t be able to get another egg, but you will be able to keep playing and caring for your current dragon.

Thank you all for taking such good care of these baby dragons. We knew we could count on you to raise healthy, happy dragons!

      • Hi Hailey – In order for a dragon to grow, it needs to be fed, cared for, played with and put to sleep in the nursery. Please make sure you are doing all of these things with your dragon and after 1 or 2 days you’ll see it grow!

Thanks for the question. The lightning is energy. To refill your dragon’s energy, put the dragon to sleep in the nursery or dragon dorms.

  19. i dont know how to release my dragon but it can fly please help me

    • Hi Cheyanne – If your dragon is fully grown, you can head over to the Dragon Release (next to the Dragon Dorms) to release it. Good luck!

  20. how long does it take for a dragon to start growing?

  21. when do they get to eat solids

    • Hi Mike- These are all great questions! Your dragon will be able to eat Kibble after it has grown from a baby into a child. Once your dragon has grown to become a teenager, you will be able to take it into the Dragon Training area. You can teach it how to fly and breathe fire there. Dragons take time to grow up just like kids do! Keep caring for yours and playing with it. Check back every day to see how much your dragon has grown!

  22. Hi,
I dont know where the dragon dorms are and my dragons lightning is going down constantly fast!!!

    Please Help,

    • Hi Matt – You can find the dragon dorms for older dragons if you enter Dragon Training. The first thing you see will be a big silver dome. This is the dragon dorms. Hope this helps!
