UPDATE: JumpStart Get Moving is now available in stores.
Last week, we announced our upcoming game, JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness™ – a sports game for the whole family that will hit stores this June. As promised, we’d like to invite you to take a look behind the scenes to see how this exciting new game was built!
First, meet Brooke Burke. You may recognize Brooke as co-host and champion of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. What you may not know is that Brooke is also a mother of 4 and Co-CEO of Modern Mom, a blog that offers advice and support for today’s moms!

With 4 young children and a thriving career, Brooke certainly knows the meaning of being a busy parent, but she also knows the importance of fitness. That’s why Brooke was eager to team up with us to create a game that would help show kids (her own as well as yours!) that fitness can be fun.
First, the development team got to work planning out the game play, by combining Brooke’s fitness expertise, JumpStart’s game-building expertise and our kinesiology consultants’ health expertise. Meanwhile, the art team got to work transforming Brooke into a 3D character…

Then it was time to schedule a photo and video shoot with Brooke!
She tried out the controls...
got some coaching...
and the team captured it all on film.
Of course, we had to bring Frankie along for the fun… and he made friends right away!
He played some rock-paper-scissors...
and, of course, gave high-fives!
