Have your kids noticed the spaceship countdown in DownTown? Well the countdown is over, so get your kids ready to practice your math skills and have some fun! Math Blaster has lifted off! MathBlaster.com is a futuristic online adventure packed with wacky aliens, high-tech gadgets and, of course, math, and it is brought to you by the makers of JumpStart!

Your kids will become new recruits at the Blaster Academy, where they will play arcade-style math games and race through high-speed missions with the help of a cast of characters that are out of this world! After learning the ropes in Blaster Academy, new cadets will join the Intergalactic Space Patrol (ISP), an elite team of Blasters sworn to explore and protect even the furthest galaxies and deepest black holes of the universe.       Hi Caterina – The way to get merits and move up in the rankings in Math Blaster is to play as many games and activities as possible. Try playing HyperCycle Training and Zapper Turret Training, and make sure to play all the different math subjects and game play levels!

    Hi. Noticed that with a membership to MathBlaster you get a membership to Jumpstart. Does that work the other way around too? We have a membership to Jumpstart and are wondering if that now includes an upgraded membership to MathBlaster, with access to all the games, or if we should cancel our membership to Jumpstart and get both through Mathblaster.       Hi Chris – YES! A JumpStart membership is also a Math Blaster membership! You can use your existing JumpStart.com account to get complete access to MathBlaster.com. Login at mathblaster.com with your JumpStart account and password, or sign in to JumpStart.com and use the portals in the game to go back and forth between the sites.

    My 7 year old daughter went to the Math Blaster web site. We couldn’t find any games – just a spaceship and every 15 minutes or so, it came under “attack.” Nothing related to math. What am I missing?

    I guess I could say that about JumpStart generally – we don’t seem to find many educational games, etc. What are we missing?

      Hi Molly – Thank you for checking out Math Blaster. There are many components to the Math Blaster site that we encourage you and your daughter to explore. Educational math games can be found in the Academy room, which houses HyperCycle Training and Zapper Turret Training, where kids can play fun math games in which they practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In JumpStart, I encourage your 7 year old daughter to explore AdventureLand, MarineLand, and FutureLand to find educational games, and I would also recommend to check out the downloadable games that are included in the membership.       Kaylee, I’m sorry you are having problems with Math Blaster. What exactly happens when you try to play games? From the Space Port, you should be able to get to games or go to other places such as the Academy. Also, when a red alert happens, make sure you head to a red alert portal so that way you can save the galaxy! If clearing your cache and re-installing Unity player does not work for you, please contact Tech Support at support@adventure.com

      Hi Lori — Unfortunately, the game is currently designed where the monster mutt picks the Blaster and not the other way around.

          Hi Lori! You’re welcome, we’re happy to help. There is a code in the system that causes a particular larva to pick each Blaster. It is done randomly and doesn’t have anything to do with your daughter’s favorites.

      Please try clearing your web browser cache, including stored Cookies AND History, by following the instructions here:

      Using Google Chrome, go to Tools > Clear Browsing Data > check Clear Browsing Data, Empty the Cache, and Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data > click Clear Browsing Data

      Using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Delete Browsing History > click on Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History > Select Delete

      Using Firefox, go to Tools > Clear Private Data > click Cache > Clear Private Data
