Yo-ho-ho! The Pirates Are Here!

Ahoy all ye landlubbers! The new pirate fun zone is here with plenty of fun new things to do! Join the pirate crew and sail around on one of the new ships – just be careful you don’t end up walking the plank!

Go check out this new uncharted territory!

Ready to go hunting for buried treasure? Explore this uncharted territory to find prizes hidden away for the bravest and smartest Jumpees! Just be careful ye – there be squalls ahead! You must search high towards the sky and deep beneath the ground to find these secret chests! Swim through the dangerous waters and climb to tallest rocks to find your own hidden treasure!

See what hidden treasure is in store for you!

Go sailing around these new waters with the pirate ships! Steer at the wheel or be a lookout up at the flag. It’s not all smooth sailing though… Shiver me timbers! Beware of cannon balls flying at you – or fire them yourself at an enemy ship!

Mythie Contest Officially Ends!

Our mythical creature contest is now closed. Thank you to everyone who sent in entries, we had an incredible number entries! Over 500 kids sent us more than 600 ideas! We received drawings of all sorts of creatures in every shape, size and color. There were tons of different powers and hundreds of amazingly creative ideas. Thank you all for entering and we hope you enter all future contests!

Now that we have all the entries, it is up to the mythies! Pegasus and the dragons will be going over your ideas and deciding which one they like best to join them in the Enchanted Sanctuary! Stay tuned because we will let you know their decision in the next couple of weeks!

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek of the Edge, the exciting new area that is being built at JumpStart.com. You helped us pick the perfect name for the hip new hangout spot inside this world – The OctoLair. Now, we need a bit more help. You see, the Edge is in need of a tour guide, and we’ve received quite a few applications! We’ve narrowed it down to the four guides below, and now we want to hear from you.

Calling All Chatterboxes: New and Improved Chat!

Do your kids love to chat and make new friends? Do they wish there was a better way for Jumpeez to socialize on JumpStart while still maintaining the current safety standards? If so, we’re pleased to announce they’re in luck because our new and improved canned chat has arrived!

Easy scrolling for faster chatting!

To get started, just click on the chat icon and browse the subcategories. Choose from various greetings, questions, and answers. There’s even a special Pirate lingo section if your kids arrr feeling nautical, which will come in handy in the Pirate Fun Zone coming soon!

Jumpeez can use fun pirate lingo as they sail through the new Pirate Fun Zone coming later this week!

Take a look at the conversations we have to offer. We think it’s a great way for kids to interact and express themselves, all while staying protected!

Other Jumpeez will see the end phrase displayed!

Of course, our chat is completely safe and comprised only of canned phrases written by JumpStart. As always, if you prefer to disable the chat function altogether, just head to “Manage Account” > “Online Game Pref” on the JumpStart.com homepage and turn off MMO.

Jumpeez can safely talk to each other using canned phrases approved by JumpStart!

Cool New Hangout Spot Coming!

Pretty soon, there will be a cool new place in JumpStart for older kids – The Edge!

The Edge will have fun new places for Jumpeez to hang out and chat with other kids their age, like the OctoLair!

Thank you for suggesting and voting on a name! The OctoLair will be up and running soon!

Jumpeez can hang out, enjoy the island atmosphere, and chat by the campfire!

Plus, new portals will take Jumpeez to the same places they know and love, like the Enchanted Sanctuary and Uncle Milton’s Amazing ScienceLand!

We can’t wait for Jumpeez to see The Edge! Are your kids excited about a new place to hang out in JumpStart?

Punk Punk Drop – Who Can Get The Top Score?

Hello arcade lovers! If your Jumpee likes competing for the high scores or collecting more coins, then head over to the arcade and test your skills at our brand new arcade game in its new location at the Boardwalk! Punk Punk Drop is the perfect way to have fun and earn coins at the same time!

Punk Punk Drop is a fun and easy matching game! Move the punk punks around to get three of the same kind lined up! They go away, new ones drop in, and you earn points! Get four of a kind and you’ll get a bomb for an explosion of points! Five of a kind earns you a clock, get the clock to the bottom of the grid and earn some extra time. If you can get two sets of three at the same time, you might just get a special treat to swirl away your least favorite punk punks! Everytime you get rid of some punk punks, you earn points. Get as many points as you can in two minutes and earn coins! How many can you get?
