All taught skills come available at multiple curriculum levels. Before a child starts a learning game, he or she is asked to choose a Curriculum Level and a Difficulty Level. There are three curriculum levels available per game, typically. Level 1 correlates closely to a Kindergarten to 1st grade level. Level 2 is good for kids in 1st or 2nd, and Level 3 is good for the 2nd and 3rd graders. We recommend that children who are successful in a certain learning activity progress to more advanced levels or return to earlier levels in subjects that they struggle with, to strengthen their learning foundations. The difficulty levels generally pertain to the challenge of the game level layout, in terms of obstacles, opponents, and sometimes the ratio of right to wrong answer choices. This game should be relevant to your child's learning for awhile.
Best,

Do the math skills increase in level of difficulty as the player is successful or is there one level of math skills covered in this game? My son is 5 and I was hoping it could continue to hold his interest for a few years.

Hi kymom,
We asked Customer Service about this, and they informed us that the dragon really just has incredible leaping abilities. Apparently, the dragon appears to fly by leaping as high as it can (Spacebar) and then kind of gliding in the direction the player controls it to (with WASD or the directional keys). Hope you all get the same results.

Hi Nancy,
I'm afraid you can not edit the child's name at the Login screen. One option is "adding" another child with the change; however, this would mean that he or she would have to start the game over in the new profile.

Very cool. I will be using this for my Cub Scout dens meeting next week. I wanted something they could use for a centerpiece that showed what they give thanks for. This is perfect!! Thanks.

Is there a way to make the dragon fly? It seems that we have seen others dragons flying/hovering, but I am not sure how to do it. Thanks!

I love this!!! I do crafts with my kids almost daily and we have a "thankful" can that we start from thanksgiving until Christmas and then read aloud on Christmas day. But this is a wonderful new way to display what we are thankful for!!! Thank you!!!
