And at JumpStart, the dress-up fun never ends! New clothes are arriving all the time! Fresh summer looks arrived today, so encourage your kids to play JumpStart so they can get some fun new clothes!

How do I add buddies?

There are two ways to add buddies:

1. Use your buddy code: Every player has a unique buddy code. To find out what yours is, go to:

• Your child’s launch page or
• JumpStart.com, “Manage Account” > “Buddy List”

Once you’re there, you can print out cards with your child’s buddy code and share them with friends and family, so they can enter the code directly on their buddy list!

2. You can also simply add buddies by clicking on another player to access his or her game card.

Click on the icon in the top right corner of the player card to add a new buddy

Then click on the red “Add Buddy” icon to invite the player to be a buddy! The player will then receive a message that looks like this:

Decide how to respond to a friend request!

If the player accepts the invitation, each player will appear on the other’s buddy list. If the recipient ignores the request, the sender will be notified that this Jumpee is not currently adding buddies. If the player selects no, the request will be denied.

So what do I do with my buddy list?

When your kids are playing DownTown and on Mainstreet, they can click on the buddy list icon to see which of their friends are online. Then they can click on “visit” or “invite” to meet up with them and explore the JumpStart world together!

How do I manage my buddy list?

Jumpeez can head over to the Buddiez Booth on MainStreet or in The Neighborhood to see their online, offline, and ignored buddies. Here they can remove buddies or accept ignored buddies by removing them from the “Ignored” list.

Of course, adding buddies is completely safe and optional!

A while back, we asked you to send us your comments and suggestions and a bunch of you came through with some wonderful ideas! To name a few, we received a great letter from Ethan, a fun note from Zoe, and a beautiful Valentine for Botley from our friend Anna. We loved reading all of these letters and feel so lucky to have such amazing fans!

We’re constantly looking for new ideas to make the JumpStart world more fun and we can’t think of better people to help us brainstorm than all you fans out there. We have such a great time hearing your ideas and they’re always so creative!

Did you know there’s a scavenger hunt going on right now at JumpStart.com?  Join in on the fun and start looking for the 40 summertime items that have been hidden throughout the world.  Did we mention that you could win coins if you find them all?!  Earlier this week we gave clues for finding the 20 items stashed in MainStreet.  Now, we’re back with hints for the 20 items in the SpeedDrome. 

By opening your JumpStart Communicator (by clicking the icon on the bottom right corner of your screen), you’ll find a checklist of the 20 items in the SpeedDrome.  Using this list, you’ll be able to see which items you’ve already found and which ones are still missing!

To help you find all of the missing items, we’re going to offer you some hints to where they might be hidden!  Are you ready to search high and low?  Try to figure out where these clues are talking about and use them to find all 20 items in the SpeedDrome!

1. On the grass next to the light that tells you when to stop and go.
2. Behind the store where you can buy a rainbow pony.
3. Behind the place where you can play games while soaring with the birds.
4. In front of the place where you can clean your armored dragon.
5. On the grass between two paths.  One is made of cement and one is made of dirt.
6. Up the road that’s to the right of the place where you can clean your llama.

Lately, we’ve received a few questions about ranks so we thought this would be the perfect time to take you behind the scenes and show you how ranks work. The ranks at JumpStart.com are powered by stars…JumpStars that is! As you earn JumpStars, you’ll level up and reach new ranks.

Wondering how many JumpStars you have? Just click on your JumpStart Communicator and select the JumpStars tab. You’ll be able to see your current rank as well as how many stars you need to level up.

Yipee! Level 4.

So where do these mysterious JumpStars come from? Great question! Jumpeez are rewarded with JumpStars for exploring new areas and playing new games! There are stars waiting to be earned in MainStreet, in the Lands (FutureLand, MarineLand, AdventureLand & StoryLand) and in the downloadable games that are included with a JumpStart membership.

In MainStreet, try playing new levels of Ghost Town Grab or stop by the Sound Bop or Robo-A-Go-Go kiosks in the arcade for stars. In the Speed Drome, race your way through the various levels of Buggy Racer to see if you can level up! In the Lands, complete missions and try all of the learning game levels – each new level that you achieve mastery (more than 80% correct) in will boost your star count! Finally, if you are a member, make sure to try out the downloadable games…there are hundreds of additional JumpStars waiting to be earned!

Now that you’ve got the scoop on the best spots to land some JumpStars, make sure to keep an eye on the competition in the Hall of Fame. There, you’ll be able to see how you stack up to Jumpeez around the world.
